Steve was born April 21, 1953, to Mr. and Mrs. C.P. (Curlie) Anderson in Wheeler, Texas. He went to school in Shamrock, Texas, and later to Laquanta County Junior College. He worked as a welder.
He was preceded in death by his parents, two brothers, Larry Kent and Burney Leon, and a sister, Trena Joy Anderson. He is survived by a daughter, Tammy Cotter and husband, Jimmy, of Guymon, Oklahoma; a son Shane Anderson and Melissa of Texhoma, Oklahoma; four grandchildren, Kelsi Cotter and Karlee Cotter, Matthew Luper, and Cody Loeser; one brother, Loyd Anderson and wife, June of Crawford, Texas; three sisters, Wanda Vinyard and husband, J.R., of Shamrock, Cleta Riley and husband W.H., of Shamrock; and Audrine Olson and husband, Ole, of Amarillo, Texas, and a host of cousins, nieces, and Nephews.
The family suggests memorials be sent to the Shamrock Community Educational Fund, P.O. Box 590, Shamrock, Texas
