- The funeral of Dennis P. Gallagher, who died at the residence of his father on Quality Hill June 13, took place from St Gabriel's Catholic church the following Thursday. The funeral was attended by Division No.3, A.O.H. of which deceased was a secretary and the T.A.and B. Society. Deceased was aged about 20 years, a person of noble character and marked intelligence, and gave every promise of being a brilliant man. He was a pupil of the public school where he was noted for his gentle, refined nature and was beloved by all who knew him.

Dennis Gallagher, son of P. H. Gallagher, died on Tuesday from injuries received in Potomac mine about one year ago. Deceased was 20 years old and a bright and promising young man. The funeral took place Thursday from the Catholic church.
