Maggie Anderson, 97, of Murphy died Thursday, December 6, 2012 in a Clay County care facility. She was a native and lifetime resident of Cherokee County. She worked for several years at The Fabric Shop and was a member of Hanging Dog Baptist Church.
She was the daughter of the late George and Dora Treadway Lovingood, and wife of the late Tony Anderson, who died in May 1976.
Surviving are several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services were held at 2:00 PM Sunday, December 9, 2012 in the Chapel of Ivie Funeral Home, Murphy with the Rev. Aud Brown officiating. Interment was in Hanging Dog Baptist Church Cemetery.
The family received friends from 1-1:45 Sunday afternoon at the Ivie Funeral Home, Murphy prior to the services.
