He was born January 27, 1936, in Lawrence County, Arkansas, to Willie and Goldie Ann Mobbs Polston.
He was of the Baptist faith, a farmer and loved to fish. He will be greatly missed by his family and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents; step-father; George Randolph, and one brother; James Polston.
He is survived by four sons and daughter-in-laws; Carl and Barbara Polston of Hot Springs, Steve and Tina Polston of Hot Springs, Jimmy Polston of Wichita Falls, Texas and Adam and Kate Davis of Arizona, four daughters; Shelia Polston of Dallas, Texas, Shari Polston Williams of Hot Springs, Tara Polston Lopez of Hot Springs and Sarah and Dustin Hall of Arizona, and the love of his life; Betsy Polston Pendley, twenty two grandchildren, sixteen great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
Graveside service were at Strangers Home Cemetery.
