Sister Nelson had been a great sufferer for years, but has borne it all with that patient, uncomplaining fortitude and resignation which belong to the true Christian. In health she was an active, earnest Christian, and in sickness we always felt that her earnest prayers and best wished were with us as pastor and people.
About one year ago her health being much improved, they purchased a farm near her father's and again commenced housekeeping. She was very happy and hopeful, but it lasted only two brief, joyous weeks, when she was attacked with the la grippe and was removed to her father's, and here surrounded by husband, father, mother, brothers and sisters, and with every care and comfort which could be lavished upon her, she spent the remaining months of her life.
At last, the death Angel came, and she bade them all goodbye, and the soul triumphant, soared away to that climb where there is no sickness, pain, or suffering, but where all his joy, for Jesus is there. She was highly esteemed by all, as was testified by the large number attending the funeral, although the day was stormy and disagreeable.
Funeral services by the writer, assisted by Rev. Miller. Funeral sermon from Philippians 1.21. While the family will miss her presence and sorrow for their great loss, they can rejoice over her gain.
Beside husband, father and mother, she leaves one brother, Willis Andrews of Warren and two sisters, Mrs. Ed Champion and Miss Clara Andrews with numerous other relatives.
