Mrs. Millie K. Diehl, 79, widow of Charles Diehl, died at 8:30 p. m. Sunday at her home, 113 1/2 Fowler street, following an illness of two weeks. She had been in failing health for several months.

A daughter of Joseph and Julia Bolejack, she was born Nov. 16, 1865 in Alton. The family came to Peoria in 1887 and on June 10, 1889 she married Manson D. Kinsey who died May 24, 1893. On March 26, 1894, she married Mr. Diehl, and he died Nov. 29, 1934. Mrs. Diehl was the last surviving member of her family.

She leaves four daughters, Mrs. Hazel Kinsey Lorenz of Arlington, Cal.; Mrs. Mary E. Rentz, Lakewood, Ohio; Mrs. Katherine Beard, Dearborn, Mich.; and Mrs. Grace Dunham of Peoria; two sons, Joseph B. Diehl, Peoria, and Charles L. Diehl, in the Veterans hospital at Danville; 10 grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.

Mrs. Diehl was a member of George A. Wilson circle No. 49, Ladies of the GAR.

Interment will be on the Wilson Circle lot in Springdale cemetery. Friends may call at the mortuary Tuesday evening.
