Harry B. Moon, 77, of 132 Snyder St., died at 4:45 a.m. today at his home. He was born near Confluence April 22, 1881, a son of the late Isaac and Minerva Dietz Moon, and had lived in this area all his life. He was a retired conductor of the B. & O. Railroad and a member of the First Baptist Church, Connellsville Lodge No. 503, B. P. O. Elks, and the Fairview Club.
Surviving are his widow, Mrs. Sarah Donnelly Moon; three sons, Harry of Somerset and George of Connellsville; four daughters, Mrs. Virginia Dailey, Mrs. Sarah McClintock and Mrs. Winifred Cartwright of Connellsville and Mrs. Cecelia Masterson of Girard, Ohio; 25 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren, and a brother, Fred of Connellsville.
The body will be at the Munk funeral home after 1 p.m. Wednesday. The funeral service will be held there at 2 p.m. Friday with the Rev. Edward Kelly of the East Connellsville E. U. B. Church officiating. Burial will be in Hill Grove Cemetery.
