Was born to Cecil and Edith Robbirds Wheeler on April 23, 1920 in Mayfield, Oklahoma. She attended Bulo and Sweetwater high school

On May 27, 1939 was united in marriage to Debs Eugene Williams. They lived California, Texas, Oklahoma. In 1953 they moved to Medford, Oregon and lived there until 1980. They moved to Houston, Missouri and 1995 moved back to Sayre, Oklahoma where they had been born and raised. To this union two daughters were born, Vanci Jean and Darla Sue.

One of her favorite jobs was working for Sears. She had excellent math skills in figuring carpet and drapes for clients homes. She came to know the Lord at an early age and faithfully attended church and taught Sunday School for many years.

After Debs went home to be with the Lord in February 2004, she moved to Springfield, Missouri to be close to her daughter Vanci. In 2009, she moved to Tucson, Arizona to be close to her daughter, Sue. Violet is preceded in deathy by her parents, two brothers J.W. and C.B., two sisters Viva and Vera, her husband Debs, her daughter Sue, one great grandson, Gordon Keith and one step great grandson Seth Walker.

Survivors are VAnci McQueen of Missouri, son-in-law Ron Hart of Tucson, Arizona. The five grand children are Ronda Cabellero and husband Xavier of Tucson, Arizona, Nathan Hart and wife Yvette of Tucson, Arizona, Rob McVay of Springfield, Missouri, Cheryl McVay Bond of Ozark, Missouri and husband Greg, Stuart McVay of Nixa, Missouri and wife Laura. There are eighteen great grand children, two sisters Verda Bales of Fort Worth, Texas, Verma Dean Clancy of Amarillo, Texas and one sister-in-law Jacqueline wheeler Lewis, nieces, nephews, and friends.
