Daughter of Rane McKinney and Sabra Vardeman.

She became the first wife of Martin D. Hardin on Sept. 4, 1834, officiated by Jonathan S. Frisbie in Wayne Co., KY. Surety was John Beaty. ("The McKinney Maze," Vol. IV #3, Fall 1985, ISSN 0736-2420)

Mary A. Hardin (1836-1920), who became the second wife of Judge Joshua Berry.
