Services for Grace T. "Pill" Lewis will be held at 11:30 a.m., Monday, November 4, 2013 in the Chapel of Hixson Brothers, Pineville with Reverend John Hebert officiating. Burial will be in Forest Lawn Memorial Park.
The family requests that visitation be observed Sunday, November 3, 2013 at Hixson Brothers, Pineville from 4:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. and will continue on Monday from 8:00 a.m. until time of service.
Mrs. Lewis, 92, of Alexandria passed away Thursday, October 31, 2013 at Emeritus at Alexandria.
She was a lifetime member of New Prospect Baptist Church.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 62 years, Oscar W. Lewis;
parents, Vandy P. and Frances Tison Tullos; two brothers; three sisters; daughter-in-law, Mandy T. Lewis; grandson, Jordan P. Lewis.
Those left to cherish her memory include her sons, Daniel W. Lewis and wife, Lyn Ronald W. Lewis and wife, Eva, Gary W. Lewis and wife, Jackie and Jeffrey W. Lewis and wife, Georginna; ten grandchildren and nine great grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be Heath M. Lewis, Ragan S. Lewis, Stephen K. Lewis, Jared M. Lewis, Ethan R. Lewis and Evhan R. Lewis.
