He was born Oct. 27, 1916, in East Prairie, son of Ernest T. and Alpha Omega Lucas McMikle.He and Pauline Sisk were married Feb.14, 1948 in Hernando, Miss.
McMikle retired as an auditor with Missouri Divison of Employment Service. He was a member of Dogwood United Methodist Church and a certified lay speaker.
He served in the U.S. Navy, and also served in the U.S. Army Air Corps during World War II.
