Ivy was the Daughter of John James Hood and Mary Angeline Enochs.

Unfortunately, Ivy's death record states that she drowned and that she was suicidal at the time.

Her death certificate states, according to her sister, Sarah Hood, that she was to be buried December 2, 1921 in Friendly, West Virginia. No record could be found of this. The Washington County Cemetery Index states that she was buried at Knob. This actually makes sense, considering the fact that her parents are buried at Knob and that, at the time of her death, Ivy was not married. Ivy's death record incorrectly lists her name as "Ina".

Much thanks goes to Jamie Straight for posting his picture o Ivy Blossom's cemetery marker.
