63 years. Funeral Monday morning at 9:30 from the Simpson funeral home and at 10 in Holy Family
church. Burial In Glenwood cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home tonight from 7 to 9 and
Sunday from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m.

James Francis Beardsley,
63, of 235 Winslow street, a
wheelchair invalid most of
his life, died this morning at
5;15 in the Mercy hospital,
where he had been a patient
since Monday. Death was attributed to a heart condition,
with which he had been afflicted for years
Mr. Beardsley had been
confined to a wheelchair
since boyhood, having been
crippled when a horse trampled him and broke his back.
The accident happened on a
farm near Belmont. He had
been unable to walk since the
injury.
The funeral will be Monday morning at 9:30 from the
Simpson funeral home and at
10 in Holy Family church.
Burial will be in Glenwood
cemetery.
Surviving him are his wife,
Mrs. Vivian I. Klingner Trembley Beardsley;
a step-daughter, Mrs. Charles W. (Betty
Trembley) Knowlton, 235 Winslow street; four step-grandchildren; two sisters,
Mrs. Sadie E. Shavia, 236
Haley street, and Miss Ida M
Beardsley, 37 Paddock Arcade, and a brother, Oliver
Beardsley, Factory street,
He was born at Malone,
Jan. 14, 1902, a son of the
late William and Rose Seymour Beardsley. He came to
this city with his parents
from Malone about 1913 and

...about 1913 and except for short periods when he lived in Carthage and Theresa, he had since lived in Watertown.
