Bobby Dean Eldridge, 80 of Springdale died Saturday, December 8, 2012 at Circle of Life Hospice in Springdale.
He was born July 14, 1932 in Springdale to David Herman and Cleta Autry Eldridge.

Bobby was a long haul truck driver for forty years during which time he worked for Steel Canning, Yellow Freight and Roadway. He attended Springdale Missionary Baptist Church. He served in the United States Army during the Korean Conflict. He was a member of the Elks Lodge # 1987 for forty four years and the teamsters for thirty two years.

He was preceded in death by his wife Muriel Eldridge, one son Phil Mayo, three brothers and one sister.

He is survived by one brother, Ollie Eldridge and wife Louene of Springdale; one sister, Shirley Rhoden of Nederland, Texas; one grandchild, Megan James and husband Elliott of Fayetteville and daughter in law Frances Mayo of Fayetteville.

Funeral services will be Tuesday, December 11, 2012 at 10:00 a.m. at Springdale Missionary Baptist Church with Rev. H.M. Shipp and Rev. Wesley Hulvey officiating. Burial will be in Elm Springs Cemetery.

Visitation will be Monday from 5 to 7 pm at Sisco Funeral Chapel of Springdale.
