Boyd Quentin Brasel, 42, of Haskell, Oklahoma, died Saturday, October 1, 1960, at Boone County Hospital, of cancer. He had been staying at the home of his sister, Mrs. Ted Shaddox, of Pruitt. He was a native of Arkansas and was born August 29, 1918, a son of James A. and Sarah E. Brasel.
He is survived by his mother, Mrs. Elizabeth Brasel, of Haskell, Okla.; three brothers, Clayton Jones, of Long Beach, Calif.; Devoe Brasel, of Prague, Okla.; Emil Brasel, of Tulsa, Okla.; eight sisters, Mrs. Jimmie Shaddox, of Pruitt, Mrs. Eva Jones, of Jasper, Mrs. Willie McKissick, of Andrews, Texas, Mrs. Elizabeth Barron, of Muskogee, Okla., Mrs. Esther Thompson, of Long Beach, Calif.; Mrs. Jessie Burdine, of Eufaula, Okla., Mrs. Clara Beck, of Arkansas, Mrs. Mary Jo Reeves, of Salinas, California.
The body was shipped by the Christenson Funeral Service to Haskell, Okla., for funeral service and burial.
