DEAN, Assistant A.G. of the Maryland National Guard and Commander of the Army National Guard; beloved husband of the late Estelle Dean (nee Gilbert); devoted father of Benjamin F. Dean, III and his wife Brenda and Gregory G. Dean and his wife Melissa; dear brother of Lucille Hetrick, Betty Main and the late Mary Catherine Evans and Nancy Showalter; cherished grandfather of Jennifer Solomos, Adam Dean, Katie Engemann, Casey and Ryan Dean; loving great-grandfather of Kaitlyn Engemann, Eban Garfield, Harry Solomos, Brandon Engemann, Rebecca Solomos and Mary Beth Engemann.
The family will receive friends in the LEMMON FUNERAL HOME OF DULANEY VALLEY, INC, 10 W. Padonia Road, (at York Road), Timonium, 21093 on Friday and Saturday, 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 P.M. There will be no visitation on Sunday. Funeral services will be celebrated in St. John's United Methodist Church, Lutherville, on Monday, May 22 at 11 A.M.
Interment: Dulaney Valley Memorial Gardens. Expressions of sympathy may be directed in Brig. Gen. Benjamin Dean's name to St. John's United Methodist Church, 216 W. Seminary Avenue, Lutherville, MD 21093.
