Note: The marriage to Margaret Ellen Brindley is according to the story told by Margaret - as yet the only documentation to confirm their association is Margaret's baby Ruth. Her birth certificate states Jasper Brindley is her father and Margaret claimed to be married to Jasper. No marriage or divorce records have been found. Note also that Jasper and Margaret were first cousins. She was born in Goderich but her parents and family resettled in Pickford, Michigan in 1881. Jasper "Jep" Kimble Brindley married Emily PICOT, daughter of Alfrid and Alice (SPREADBURY) Picot of C3, in 1907 in Detroit, MI. Jep was a farmer and they owned and resided at L5/C3 until their home there burned, at which time they moved to L6/C3. Eventually they moved into Goderich. After 1924, Emily lived in Sarnia. Jep and Emily had ten children - Bill, Ruby, Joe, Olive, Edna, Gordon, Albert, Margaret, Dorothy and Millie.
