On last Sunday morning, Professor Charles Nelson, former music instructor, died at his home on South Meridian Street. He formerly taught at the old Aberdeen College. He was a native of Cincinnati, but married in Aberdeen and lived here for a number of years, before going to Florida. He and Mrs. Nelson returned to Aberdeen some months ago. Funeral services were conducted from the Harrison Funeral Home with Rev. D.H. Mattherly in charge. He leaves his wife, two daughters, Mrs. J.A. Brown of Aberdeen, and Mrs.Marie Brown of Jacksonville, Fla., and one son Charles Nelson, Jr. of Macon, Ga.
