J.D. Persinger, 74, of Fulton died Wednesday, March 5, 1997, at Boone Hospital
Center.
Services will be held at 2 p.m. Friday, March 7, at Columbia Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 1 to 1:45 p.m. Friday, March 7, at Memorial Funeral
Home.
Mr. Persinger was born Dec. 8, 1922, in Boone County to Granville and Ollie
Dennis Persinger.
He married Jimolee Reed in Columbia in 1945, and she preceded him in death.
Survivors include three sons, James Persinger of Jefferson City, Frank
Persinger of Tuscumbia and William Persinger of Wilmington, N.C.; two sisters,
Gean Cagle and Thelma Clinkinbeard, both of Columbia; and four grandchildren.
