Marlin was a longtime member of Roswell First Baptist church; he served his country in the U.S. Coast Guard during WWII, was a parts manager of Henry Darling Chevrolet of Augusta, Nalley Chevrolet of Atlanta and Heritage Cadillac of Roswell.
He is survived by his son Marlin T. Humphrey, Ellijay GA, daughter Crystal Cherry ,Marietta GA; granddaughter, Kathryn Cherry, of Roswell GA..
Graveside services will be held with Military Honors at Green Lawn Cemetery on Saturday, December 8, 2012 at 1:00 PM with Rev. Jerry Tyler officiating.
