Rites Held Saturday for Fred C. Bergmann

Fred C. Bergman, a life-time; resident of the Washington Community, passed away at Memorial Hospital in Blair on Thursday, January 26, 1967, at the age of 80 years and 2 days. He had been ill for four months.

He was born near Washington to Fred and Margaretha Bergmann on January 1, 1887. He was baptized in the Lutheran faith.

He was preceded in death by his parents, two sisters and four brothers and leaves to mourn one sister, Mrs. Amanda Paasch, and a number of nieces and nephews.

Pastor Harold Laursen of Kennard was in charge of funeral services which were held at Haden1 Golden Funeral home in Bennington on Saturday, January28, 1967, at 2 p.m.

Interment was in the German Cemetery. Pallbearers were 'six nephews; Byron Bergman, Donald Bergman, Bernard Bergman, Fred Puls, Charles Grant and Alvin Wulf. |
