DOUBLE FUNERAL FOR VICTIMS OF WRECK HELD IN DARLINGTON

Special to the Morning News:
DARLINGTON Dec. 17 - Double funeral services were held in Darlington on Monday afternoon at Kistler Funeral Home at 3:30 o'clock for A. B. Smith, 27 and Lonnie T. Morris, 42 who were drowned Saturday night near North Charleston where the automobile in which they were riding crashed through the rail of a bridge into Burton's Creek. Rites were conducted by the Rev. J.A. Rogers, pastor of the Central Baptist church of Darlington. Interment took place in Grove Hill cemetery here.

Mr. Morris is survived by his widow, Mrs. Lina Smith Morris and five children, Hazel Morris, Betty Morris, Jack Glenn Morris, Billy Morris and Ted Morris. He is also survived by the following brothers and sisters; L.I. Morris, of Portsmouth, Va.; W.Y. Morris of Georgetown; C.N. Morris of New York; Mrs. W.C. Holliday, California; Mrs. W.H. Byrd, Mrs. P.A. Barber, Mrs. G.B. Jenkins, all of Erwin, N.C.; and Mrs. B.B. Rodgers of Beaufort.

Mr. Smith is survived by two sisters, Mrs. George Scott and Mrs. J.H. Brown of Darlington.
