Henry Lane Hazelrigg was the son of Harvey Gregg and Mary (Jameson) Hazelrigg. Captain Henry Lane Hazelrigg, Company K, 40th Indiana Volunteers, died in the tragic explosion and sinking of the Mississippi River steamboat paddlewheeler, SS Sultana, near Memphis, Tennessee.
