"Notes

(1-3-05) Papa: People may think I am just saying this to be nice but our papa was kind, intelligent, handsome and just all around GREAT! He always tried to be there for our baseball, basketball, football, dance, soccer or whatever was going on. He was the best papa, dad, friend or whatever he was to you. He will be missed deeply !! Alexa Beale

(1-3-05) Many thanks for the Beale's. My sisters and I would like to wish everybody a safe and happy New Year. On behalf of my sisters and I, we would also like to take the time to thank everybody for attending our Dad's funeral services. We were so happy to hear so many great stories about our Dad's heroics on and off the track. He's definitely our hero. He will live on through us forever. We would like to say a special thanks to Don (Bubba) Radebaugh for taking time out, to help during the Christmas holiday. To Chris, Emily, and Carly Radebaugh thank you for being so understanding. Bubba came through when I needed him the most. My family and I will never forget what you did for us; there needs to be more people like you in this world. Thanks to Jim and Julie Dake. Jim was there with my Dad during his final minutes. It is comforting to know he wasn't alone and that such a great friend was there when we couldn't be. May a checkered flag wave upon all of us each and everyday. Al (Alfie) Beale Jr.

(1-1-05) I will miss my papa-My papa Al Beale was a great guy, I will miss him so much. He gave me courage and strength even when I had to go in the hospital. Thank you to everyone who has remembered my papa; he truly loved racing, and his family and friends truly loved him. Taylor Olvera

(12-30-04) I am a granddaughter of Al Beale. I want to thank you all for being so good to my Papa. He really loved being with all of you guys. Racing was his life for so many years and I am so happy that he shared it with me. Please remember all the good times that you had with my Papa; he would rest much easier knowing that is how he is being remembered. Thank you so much, Stevie Lynn Beale

(12-30-04) Just a quick note to thank you on the story about Al Beale. I enjoyed it very much. I will be 57 in Jan. 05, and remember watching him race as a youngster, with my Father, at TRP, Jackson and Toledo Speedway. Wasn't there a track at the Lucas County Fairgrounds, out in Maumee, called Fort Miami? It seems that I remember Al running the BB car there. Thanks, Jack Smenner

(12-29-04) What a great piece on Al Beale. Hard to believe I have lived here all my life and I never met Al. I used to deliver pizzas to his son over on Gage Road in college, and I met Rollie a couple of times as a kid, but I never met Al. He sure seems like someone heroes are made of...I sure do appreciate someone like you putting it into words. Have a safe and happy New Year...talk to you soon, Charlie Krall

(12-28-04) So long dear friend Al. Well, we just said our final goodbye to you today as you crossed the finish line and went to Victory Lane. You were my best friend and the best neighbor a guy could ever have. Without you, I would have never met the wonderful people in the ARCA organization, and I thank you deeply for that. You will be sadly and greatly missed by all, but especially me. Your memory and legacy will always live forever and I will never forget you. So long for now, until we meet again, Jim Dake, Toledo Ohio
