Charlie W. Belcher, 89, of Temple, formerly of Waco died April 10, 1993 in Temple.

Services will be at Sheffield Funeral Home Chapel, the Rec. Joe Broadway officiating, burial in Rosemound Cemetery in Waco.

Mr. Belcher was born March 29, 1904 in Youngsport, TX where he was raised and attended school.

He married Ruby McDonald on Sept. 28, 1931.

He had been a resident of Temple for 12 yrs.

He retired from General Tire and Rubber Co. in Waco after 20 yrs. He was a member of the United Rubber Workers Union, and the Sportsman Club of Lake Belton.

Survivors include; his wife Ruby; a son, Roy Belcher of Waco; a daughter, Doris Pade of Mercer Island Washington; and two grandsons.
