Obit - " Mrs. Zona Cox Barnhart of Boston, Mass., passed away June 18, following a seven year illness. She was born in Troy, Dec. 8. 1892 the daughter of the late Franz Cox and Sally Spiers Cox. The Cox family moved to Austin, Texas when Mrs. Barnhart was a young girl. She is survived by one daughter, Shirley Mills of Duxbury, Mass.; three sons, James of Dallas, Texas, Russell of Boston, Mass, and Dale of Culpepper, VA. One brother, Ray M. Cox of Weston, and two sisters, Mrs. Lillian Elcho of New York, and Mrs. Amy Clinger of Austin, Texas. Frank Stainaker of Linn, and Harry Stainaker of Troy, are nephews. She was preceded in death by one brother, Ralph Cox of Weston and Clarksburg, and one sister, Mrs. Roy ( Hettie) Stainaker of Troy. Her husband, Paul Barnhart, died several years ago. Funeral services were held in Boston, June 21, and the remains were returned to Weston where graveside services were held June 24, with the Rev. Stringer of the St. Pauls Episcopal church of Weston in charge." NOTE - The DOB stated in the obit is in error.
