Sean Tracy Baldwin entered into eternal rest suddenly at the VA Hospital in Orange, NJ on December 5, 2012. He was born to the late Mrs. Victoria Mary Sheppard Baldwin and the late Gerald Baldwin, citizens of Essex County, NJ. His formative years were spent in the county of his birth where he attended the Essex County public school system.

His high school years were his most cherished years. "Hot Dog" he was jokingly called one day, and from that day forward we lovingly referred to him as just that. It was unique. It was it trendy, and that was Sean. He enjoyed wearing the latest trends and spending invaluable time with his fellow classmates.

After obtaining his Diploma in 1986, Sean physically trained himself jogging 3 miles a day and vigorous weight lifting to prepare for his enlistment in the United States Marine Corps boot camp in Parris Island SC. In September of 1986, Sean successfully completed training and was then stationed in Oceanside, California and later toured 1 year in Okinawa, Japan. Sean served in the United States Marine Corps from August, 1986 to August, 1990 and was honorably discharged with the rank of Lance Corporal.

While serving in the U.S.M.C he proposed to his high school sweetheart Cherye Fogg February 14, 1987 and they married December 25, 1987 and of this union, they were blessed with the birth of Sean Baldwin Jr. Later he moved to Virginia, where he met Nicolette Goodrich and there union was blessed with a daughter Traniya Baldwin. Sean then wanted to move back to NJ where he then met Aisha McDonald and their union was blessed with his last daughter, Heaven Baldwin.

Sean was last employed as the Maintenance Department Mgr. for Pope John Paul II Pavilion Nursing Home in Orange, NJ. He began to feel ill in 2011, but still managed to work as his health deteriorated. Sean was no longer able to work in May, 2012. He spent his last remaining months with family as he began rehabilitation. Unfortunately, he succumbed to his ailments.

Sean leaves behind to cherish his memory: His son Sean "Ray Ray" Baldwin Jr., Sean Jr's mother Cherye Fogg Baldwin Linzer of Riverdale, GA, his daughters Traniya Baldwin and her mother Nicolette Goodrich of South Hill, VA., as well as Heaven Baldwin and her mother Aisha McDonald of Paterson. NJ. Brother Che Baldwin of South Hill, VA., three aunts Judith Williams of Linden, NJ, Joan Baldwin of Orange, NJ and Carol Smith of Bloomfield, NJ and a host of cousins, nieces, a nephew, and other relatives and friends. A special thanks and acknowledgement to Joan Baldwin, Robin Phillips and Gloria Fogg for years of support, and Kimberly Simpson for assisting Sean in his last days. You've truly made an impression on him. May God Bless you all.
