SPRINGVALE - Former resident, Gertrude M Morin, 73, of East Concord, VT, died Saturday at Dartmouth-Hitchcock Hospital in Lebanon, New Hampshire. She was born in Springvale on September 20, 1926, a daughter of George and Alma Doiron Vallee, and was educated there. She worked for a few years in the Goodall Mills in Sanford. On November 29, 1947, she married Marcel A Morin in Notre Dame Church in Springvale. He died September 9, 1999. In 1952, she and her family moved to Watertown, CT, where she worked for Winchester Electronics for eight years. After retiring, she moved to East Concord with her husband in 1981. Family members say, she enjoyed crocheting. Survivors include: two daughters, Susan Manger of Watertown, CT and Paula Dubois of Warren, CT; a sister, Marie Philips of New Port Richey, FL; two grandchildren; two great granddaughters; and several nieces and nephews.
