on December 5, 2012:

Loretta R. Solheid, age 94 of Belle Plaine, passed away on Sunday, December 2, 2012 at the Belle Plaine Lutheran Home. Mass of Christian Burial will be 10:30 a.m. on Friday, December 7, 2012 at Our Lady of the Prairie in Belle Plaine. Visitation will be 4-8 p.m. on Thursday, December 6 at the Kolden Funeral Home in Belle Plaine, and also one hour prior to Mass at church on Friday. Interment will be in St. Peter and Paul Cemetery in Belle Plaine.

Loretta was born on November 24, 1918 to Henry and Elizabeth (Dietrich) Breeggemann in Marystown, MN. Loretta's greatest joy was her faith and her family. Loretta is survived by her children, Rosie, Ted, Rich (Anna), Lee (Sherry), Liz (Glenn) and Jim; 11 grandchildren, 14 great-grandchildren; sister, Mary (Dick) Klehr; and brother, Albert (Helen) Breeggemann.

Loretta is preceded in death by her parents; husbands, Theodore Klehr in 1941 and LeRoy Solheid in 1998; brothers, Roman, Frank, Lawrence, Joe, Dan, Leon, and Donnie; sisters; Rosanna and Alvira; and grandson, baby Nicholas.
