Mrs. Everitt Dies at Age 97
Funeral services for Mrs. Lula Hardy Everitt, 97, Rt. 2, Scottsburg, will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, May 13, at the Collins Funeral Home, Scottsburg, with burial in Everitt Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home after 6 p.m. today.
Mrs. Everitt died Wednesday, May 11, at the home of a daughter after an illness of several months.
She was a native of Scott county, Ky., but had lived several years in this area. She was a homemaker and a member of the Vienna Methodist Church.
Survivors include two sons, Stanley Everitt, Scottsburg; Kenneth Everitt, Clarksville; one step-son, Thomas Everitt, Indianapolis; two daughters, Mrs. Lillie Daniels, Scottsburg, Mrs. Dorothy Baker, Sellersburg; one brother, William Hardy, Bloomington; 16 grandchildren, 30 great-grandchildren and 10 great-great-grandchildren.
The family requests that expressions of sympathy be made to the Vienna Methodist Church building fund.
