EMIL NOLL PASSES AWAY
Emil Noll, aged 59 years, for many years a resident of the north side, died at his home, 1230 Michigan Avenue, at 7:15 this morning after an illness of over fifteen years with paralysis. Mr. Noll had been seriously ill for the past two weeks, and death came not unexpected. Fifteen years ago he suffered a severe stroke of paralysis, which lamed his entire left side and rendered him practically helpless. Two weeks ago his condition suddenly grew worse, resulting in death early this morning.
Mr. Noll was born in Saxony, Germany, April 28, 1858, and in 1883, at the age of 25 years he emigrated to this country with his parents and Miss Rosalie Eisold,(sic) settling in the village of Kiel. He was united in marriage to Miss Eisold(sic) soon after, and three years later removed to this city where he had lived ever since. In 1889, one year after the death of his wife he married Mrs. Noll, who now survives him.
Besides his wife, two children, Edward Noll, of Juneau, and Mrs. Albert Brown of this city; three stepchildren, Arthur Eisold, Mrs. Charles Tessin and Mrs. Charles Brown of this city; and four grandchildren, Arthur and Ruth Noll of Juneau and Violet and Harvey Brown of this city survive.
The funeral will be held Friday afternoon from the residence on Michigan Avenue, Rev. Krueger officiating. Interment will be made in the Wildwood cemetery.
