Mrs. Watson was born April 7, 1928, in Danville, a daughter of Alfred and Amanda Nease Bahls. She married Wayne Watson on June 13, 1948, in Urbana. He died July 13, 1990.
Survivors include a son, Randall Watson of Catlin; a daughter, Lisa Unekis of Danville; two brothers, Jim Bahls of Thomasboro, Ind., and Robert Bahls of Mesa, Ariz.; a sister, Marjorie Smith of Bismarck; and three grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by three sons.
Mrs. Watson had been living with her daughter for the past three years.
She graduated from Danville High School in 1946. She retired from Illinois Bell Telephone Company in 1986, and later worked for the Vermilion County Clerk's Office.
She was a member of Lincoln United Methodist Church, Danville. She enjoyed Illini sports.
