Final Services for Henry Floyd Killion Conducted Tuesday, February 15
Funeral services for Henry F. (Floyd) Killion of Golthwaite were conducted Tuesday, February 15, 1972 at 2:30 pm in the Calvary Baptist Church of May. Interment was in the May Cemetery. Rev. Patterson of the Calvary Baptist Church and Rev. Dan Connally of the Goldthwaite First Baptist Church officiated. Wilkins Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
Mr. Killion passed away Sunday, February 13, 1972 at 11:30pm in the Heritage Nursing Home in Goldthwaite.
Mr. Killion was born December 16, 1895 in May, Texas and his parents were the late Henry M. Killion and Addie English Killion.
On Dec. 6, 1923 he married Mary Myrtle Patton in May, Texas. They moved to Goldthwaite from Liberty in 1970.He was a member of the Baptist Church. His occupation was farmer and rancher.
Pallbearers were Marshell Dennis, Norvell Killion, Gene Pierce, Jack Smith, Almos McMurry, and John Henry Dewbre.
Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Myrtle Killion of Goldthwaite; one daughter, Mrs. Troy Berry of Liberty; one son, H.L. Killion of Rising Star; seven grandchildren; two brothers, Elmer Killion of Brownwood and Oscar Killion of May; one sister, Mrs. O.L. Pierce of Clovis, N.M. and a number of nieces and nephews.
