Died at age 34. Thomas was a Private in Company F 34th Regiment Georgia Volunteer Infantry Division during the American Civil War 1861-1865. Thomas was also a PRISONER OF WAR. THANK YOU FOR YOUR SERVICE.

Thomas enlisted as a Private on May 17, 1862 in Trenton, Dade County, Georgia in Company F, 34th Regiment Georgia Volunteer Infantry Division. Captured on July 4, 1863 and a POW at Vicksburg, Mississippi and paroled on July 8, 1863. Captured again in April, 1865. Took an oath of allegiance to the United States Government on July 8, 1865.
