Spring City, Tenn -- Avil M. Newby, 72 of Spring City, died Wednesday in a hospital at Rockwood, Tenn.
Surviving area brother, Claude Newby, Jamestown, Tenn.; a sister, Vesta Riggs, Spring City, several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday at Four Square Church here.
The Revs. George Lee and Jerry Sharp will officiate. Interment will be in Thurman Cemetery.
