Lena Inez Moore, 80, of Palatka, died Sunday, June 9, 1996, at Columbia Putnam Medical Center after a brief illness.
She was born in mount Pleasant, Ga., and had lived in Palatka since 1960, coming from Townsend, Ga. She was a member of Bethany Baptist Church and she was a homemaker.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Kelly Thomas Moore Sr.
She is survived by sons, Bill Moore of Townsend, Ga., Tommy Moore and Luther Moore, both of Bardin, Ira Moore of Williston and Cleve Moore of Palatka; daughters, Alice Cameron of Pembroke, Ga., and Mary La Roche, Ruby Williams and Doris Dukes, all of Palatka; brother, W. S. Richardson of Franklin, N.C.; 36 grandchildren and 32 great-grandchildren.
The funeral will be 10 a.m. Tuesday at Johnson-Overturf Funeral Home in Palatka with Rev. Al Glance and C. L. Overturf Jr. officiating. Burial will follow in Oak Hill East Cemetery. (Palatka Daily News Obituary dtd 10 Jun 1996.)
