Enlisted in Co. I, 1st Regiment, MN Heavy Artillery and served until the close of hostilities.


George A. Dixson (Dixon in military records), when 37 years old, enlisted on 2/13/1865 as a Private into "I" Co. MN 1st Heavy Artillery. He was Mustered Out on 9/27/1865.
