Enlisted: 4 MAY 1942 [the day after his 17th birthday] and served in the Navy during WW II, as a member of an Underwater Demolition Team - Frogmen - which has since evolved into what is now named SEALS.

On 14 July 1945, while still serving in the Navy, Louis married Eleanor Stasia Mocarski in New York. His mother, Goldie I Stimmel Hahn and her sister, D. Marie Gill traveled from Fort Wayne, Indiana to witness the nuptials.

Louis mustered out of the U. S. Navy on 2 October 1945.

He and his bride, Eleanor, then moved back to his home State of Indiana. They rented a cozy, attractive home in the country of Northwest Allen County, where they lived when their family started to increase.

Possessing inherent qualities of cheerfulness and good-humor his life was destined for personal success.

Shortly after his wife gave birth to their 2nd child, Louis was tragically found dead [under highly suspicious circumstances] on the floor of the business of his employment in downtown Fort Wayne. {Having no history of physical, emotional, mental or financial issues has led to the conclusion that this was a personal attack by someone, known to Louis, with evil intent}.

He was only 23 years old.

His entire family so loved him that the impact of Louis' demise detrimentally permeated his loved ones for decades.
