Carlos Perry Taylor age 72, of Sheridan, Arkansas passed away Sunday, December 2, 2012 at his home with his loving wife by his side. He was born September 15, 1940 to the late S.W. "Dub" Taylor and Ruthie Elva (Blackerby) Taylor in Pine Bluff, Arkansas. Perry was a very devout father, husband, friend and Christian, he was a member of Sardis Missionary Baptist Church who loved the lord and was a devoted deacon of Sardis Missionary Baptist Church also. He was also a Gideon; Perry was retired from Trotter Ford where he was employed for over forty-seven years.
He was preceded in death by his parents and his first wife, Betty (Plunkett) Taylor.
Perry is survived by his loving wife, Lottie (Lybrand) Taylor of Sheridan; his sons, Perry Lynn Taylor and his wife Vickie of Sulphur Springs, Scott Taylor and David Heitz of Greenville, Indiana, Jody R. Taylor and his wife Larita of Grapevine and Jamie B. Taylor and his wife Renee also of Grapevine; Stepsons, Randy DeMoss and his wife Cherry and Danny DeMoss and his wife Polly all of Sheridan; Stepdaughter, Linda Jordan and her husband Mike also of Sheridan; 20 grandchildren, 15 great grandchildren and a host of other family members and friends that will miss him dearly.
Visitation will be 6:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M., Tuesday, December 4, 2012 at Sardis Missionary Baptist Church in Grapevine, Arkansas.
Funeral Services will be at 2:00 P.M., Wednesday, December 5, 2012 at Sardis Missionary Baptist Church with Bro. Ronald Young officiating.
Interment will follow the service at Grapevine Cemetery.
