Norma passed away surrounded by her large tribe. She was ushered by the angels into the presence of her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.
Norma was born Nov. 15, 1938, in Great Falls to Mary Louise Meyers and Corbett Jarvey. She was the youngest of five children and raised on Hill 57. She married Carl Sangrey, and together they had eight children. They later divorced, and she married Daniel Elliott. Together they enjoyed eleven children.
Norma was well known for her love for children and helping others. She raised many of her grandchildren. She was a foster grandparent for the later part of her life.
She was an avid bingo player, racing fan, pool and dart player, 49er and SF Giants fan. She was well known for her frybread and hosted many Indian Taco feasts and sales at The Senior Center and Bingo Bonanza. Her family was the joy of her life and enjoyed participating in family events.
She is survived by her husband, Daniel F. Elliott of Great Falls; children Carl Sangrey Jr, Sandra (Larry)McWilliams, Diane Cummins, Jerry (Lynn) Sangrey, Susie Sangrey, Jean (Marty) Harvie, Aaron (Christa) Liscum all of Great Falls, Carol Franco of Helena, Paula Wolfe of Heath, Ohio, and Scott (Kristi) Sangrey of Missoula; several she raised as her own, Danelle "Dee Dee" Sangrey Varlow of New Jersey, Sandy Weninger, Janette Vaughn, Crystal Harvie and Dayton Liscum all of Great Falls; 30 grandchildren; and 51 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents; brothers Henry, Clarence and Daniel; sister Edna; son Phillip; and multiple nieces and nephews.
