Hollis Vuren Nave age 82 of Athens, passed away on Saturday, December 1, 2012 at his residence. Mr. Nave was born February 20, 1930 in Limestone County to Benjamin Nave and Clara Campbell Nave.
Services for Mr. Nave are Monday, December 3, 2012 at Sardis Springs Baptist Church at 2:00 p.m. Visitation will be from 1:00 until 2:00 p.m. prior to the service. Burial will be in Sardis Spring Cemetery with Tim Keenum officiating. Limestone Chapel Funeral Home is handling the arrangements.
He is survived by his wife of 60 years, Ruth Nave; son, Roger Nave; daughter, Deborah Putman; brother, Ed Nave; sister, Margaret Prichard; granddaughters, Lauren Putman, Jennifer Nave and Lesley Nave; great-grandchildren, Madison Nave, Montana Nave, Ashland Nave and Benjamin Marbut; daughter-in-law, Donna Nave.
Pallbearers are Lawrence Holt, Joe Bailey, Bert Putman, Billy Ackerman, Lynn Haynes and Jerry Long.
