One of the largest and saddest funerals that has been held in this resident for many a day was that held over the remains of Mrs. John Rembolt which were laid to rest in the Wiegert cemetery Wednesday. The deceased was formerly Miss Myrtle Kluge of Buffalo county, and had she lived another week would have been married just three years. A little girl was born Feb. 21, since which time the mother has not been well. But she was not thought seriously ill until the Wednesday preceding her death. All that human aid coud do was done for her but all of no avail and she passed away Sunday evening shortly after 8 o'clock at the age of 25 years, 6 months and 11 days.

Mrs. Rembolt was an ever faithful Christian worker and on her deathbed said she was going home. She was a charming woman in every respect and was loved by all who knew her. Besides a loving husband and a little babe, she leaves to mourn her untimely death a mother, three sisters and two brothers and a host of friends. Her casket was covered with beautiful flowers, one handsome wreath being sent by a sister from Colorado. The little baby was christened at the home before the funeral services took place and this of course made the event doubly sad. The little one was named Myrtle Leola. It has been taken to the home of its grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Rembolt, who will take care of the little one.
