SEFFNER -- Mr. Delwin Clyde Graves of Seffner died of heart failure Thursday (Aug. 31, 2006) in Tampa. He was 70.
Born April 24, 1936, in Palermo, N.Y., Mr. Graves moved to Seffner from New York in 1972. He worked as a pipe fitter for the Tampa shipyard. He attended Evangelist for Jesus Tabernacle.
Mr. Graves was preceded in death by his wife of 47 years, Pat Graves. He is survived by his daughters, Claudia Penton and Sheila Graves-Riley, both of Seffner, Justine Plummer, Dover, Betty Reynolds, Lakeland; adopted children, Malea Lawson, Seffner, Susanna Price, Tampa, Jessica Graves, New York, Joseph Graves, Seffner, Michael Graves, Tampa; brothers, Duane Graves, Fulton, N.Y., Keith Graves, Arizona; sisters, Dolores Meeker and Bonnie Bendschneider, Fulton; 13 grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be from 6 to 7 p.m. Tuesday at Haught Funeral Home. Services will follow at 7 p.m. at the funeral home.
