From Patrick's obituary found in the "Flint Journal," page 70, 26 September 1968: O'DRISCOLL, Patrick H. -- 1134 Forest Ave., age 81, died Wednesday, September 25, 1968, at Flint Osteopathic Hospital. Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m., Saturday at St. Michael Catholic Church, Msgr. Earl V. Sheridan officiating. Burial in Crestwood Memorial Gardens Cemetery. Mr. O'Driscoll will lie in state at the Brown Funeral Home, 1616 Davison Rd. Rosary will be recited at 8 p.m., Friday. He was born in Brainerd, Minnesota, April 28, 1887, and had been a resident of Flint for the last 13 years. Mr. O'Driscoll was a member of St. Michael Church, a veteran of World War I and was a member of the DVA. He was employed at Fisher Body Division, Plant 23, Detroit for 23 years, retiring in 1955. Surviving are: Wife, Minnie; 2 sons, Jess Gibbons of Harrisburg, Illinois, and Avary McClane of Flint; daughter, Mrs. Georgia Cassel of Flushing; 6 grandchildren; 9 great-grandchildren; 2 sisters, Mrs. Grace Ernster of Detroit, and Mrs. Jeanetts Simmons of Great Falls, Montana; several nieces and nephews.
