HOLTZ, Jan. 9.—Troubles of the heart and kidneys caused the death of Mrs. John Hunt, of this place, this evening at 6 o'clock. She was about fifty-five years old, and had been ailing for some time. Surviving are her husband and these children: John, Pentz, Harvey, Samuel, David, Elmira, a nurse at Philadelphia; Bessie, Sarah and Nora, at home.

FUNERAL OF MRS. JOHN HUNT

FREYSVILLE, Jan. 12.—The funeral of Mrs. John Hunt, of this place, was held at 10 o'clock from the house. Rev. U. B. Apple, of Red Lion, officiating. Further services followed at the, Lutheran church, where interment was made. The pallbearers were J. W. Stine, H. B. Frey, Emanuel Smeltzer, J. A. Douglass, Alonzo Glatfelter and Michael Miller. The funeral was largely attended.
