Robert O. Bonawitz

Robert O. Bonawitz, 77, of East Market Street, Gratz, died Sunday at Harrisburg Hospital.

Born in Wiconisco, Oct. 21, 1918, he was a son of the late Ira and Mary Troutman Bonawitz.

He was an Army veteran.

He was a retired carpenter.

He was a member of Immanuel United Methodist Church, Loyalton,: and its Methodist Men's Brotherhood, Elizabethville American Legion and Veterans of Foreign Wars posts, Gratz Histor-: ical Association and was president of Gratz Area Senior Citizens.

Surviving are his wife, the former Phyllis Hoover; a daughter, Sharon Rissinger, Lykens; two stepsons, 0.John Daniel, West Chester, and Kim Douglas Daniel, Harrisburg; a sister, Eva Snyder, Loyalton; seven grandchildren.

Services were held at today from Immanuel United Methodist Church, Loyalton. The Revs. Phillip Sabas and Barry Ridge officiated. Interment was in Maple Grove Cemetery, Elizabethville. James A.Reed Funeral Home, Pillow, is in charge of arrangements
