Spokesman-Review, The (Spokane, WA) - October 10, 1997 Deceased Name: Maxwell Beno - Pasco No services will be held for Maxwell Frederick Beno, 84, at his request. Burial will be in the family cemetery in Middleton, Ore. Mueller's Greenlee Funeral Home in Pasco is in charge of arrangements.
Mr. Beno, who was born in Middleton, Ore., died Monday.
He served in the Navy during World War II as a lieutenant in the Pacific Fleet and graduated from Oregon State University.
Mr. Beno had lived in the Spokane area from 1946 to 1982 and was an electrical engineer for the Bonneville Power Administration for 33 years. He was in charge of the meter and relay department of the BPA's Bell Substation.
He moved to Pasco in 1982.
Mr. Beno was a member of the Electrical Engineer Society and American Federation of Government Employees Local 928.
Survivors include his wife of 60 years, Bertha; a daughter, Sarah Kuklinski of Pasco; a son, Don Beno of Prior Lake, Minn.; and four grandchildren.
