Visitation will be from 6 to 9 p.m. Thursday at Chauvin Funeral Home and from 9 a.m. until service time Friday at Maria Immacolata Catholic Church. Mass will be at 11 a.m. Friday at the church, with burial in St. Francis de Sales Cemetery No. 2.
He is survived by his son, Earl Paul Neil Jr. and wife, Alyce Dumond Neil of Houma; daughters, Christie Neil Enache and husband, Ionut "John" Enache of Houma, and Gina Lynn Neil of Baton Rouge; and grandchildren, Kaleigh Neil, Chelsea Crochet, Caelyn Crochet, Cassidy Olivier and Abigail Campo.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Gail Jaccuzzo Neil; his parents, Ira Neil and Nolia Levron Neil; one daughter Lisa Crochet; and two brothers, Leland Neil and Perry Neil Sr.
He was a parishioner of Maria Immacolata Catholic Church and a member of the Lion's Club and the Knights of Columbus. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, eating and spending time with his children and grandchildren.
The family would like to thank their father's health care providers, especially Dr. Russell Henry and staff. They would also like to thank Joanne Jaccuzzo Voisin for all of her care and support through the years.
