Lemuel was the son of
Lemuel Savery & Elizabeth Stephenson,
(Elizabeth was the widow of George Deverson).
He married Rizpha Thomas.

Note:
When Burial Hill was mapped in the
1990's the gravestone for Lemuel &
his children was not found. It was
documented by Bradford Kingman &
is in his book "Epitaphs from Burial Hill."

Note on Lemuel's father, Lemuel Sr.:
Born July 7, 1759, the son of Thomas
Savery and Priscilla Paddock.
Lemuel carved gravestones from about
1773 to 1796. From the time he was
about sixteen until age 39. So far a
record has not been found of Lemuel's
death in Plymouth church or civil
records, or in the records of surrounding
counties, nor does he have a stone on
Burial Hill. His widow, Elizabeth who never
remarried does have a stone there.

Lemuel's mother Priscilla and his brother
Thomas are buried at Lakenham Cemetery,
North Carver.
Lemuel was the son of
