Memorials: Should friends desire, contributions to the Mission and Outreach Fund at St. Christopher would be welcomed. Miss Peters was born in Toronto, Ohio, July 26, 1932, to Harry and Rose Hunter Peters. She was a graduate of Toronto High School and Ohio University. Her career as an elementary teacher spanned more than 40 years and included positions in New Mexico, Germany and 29 years in Milpitas, Calif. Among her treasures are many grateful letters from parents of her students. Patricia Peters was a gentle woman of humility and great generosity. She served faithfully as lay reader and Stephen Minister in both St. Francis Episcopal Church, San Jose, and St. Christopher. Pat moved from San Jose, Calif., to Fort Worth in 1999 and very quickly became a beloved member of the St. Christopher family. She sang in the Santa Clara Chorale and was in the choir and the bell choir at St. Francis for many years. We are grateful to Dr. Joseph Marcella and staff, Dr. Dapo Afolabi and Tracy, and Covenant Hospice for their tender care.
